Mleczko Deli

Mleczko Deli is a chain of Polish grocery shops based in West London, offering its clients traditional Polish products of the highest quality at competitive prices. Ever since 1996, Mleczko brand has been striving to provide great customer service… and Polish hospitality! How? Visit one of their local shop and not only will you be greeted by smiley shop assistants (that’s a rarity, huh?), but you will also find there a variety of fresh bread of excellent quality that comes straight from the company’s own bakery! We promise you, you will never go back to Hovis!

Our

Challenge

The main goal of this campaign was to increase brand awareness of Mleczko Delikatesy among the local community, and to promote their Slough store – the largest Mleczko store, offering a vast range of products. But to simply be good was not good enough (the competition never sleeps!) – the goal was also to make the shop stand out among others and to showcase the brand’s uniqueness. Last but not least, the campaign was to demonstrate the high quality of products, because… being told it’s delicious and tasting it for yourself are two different things!

EXHIBITION STAND & SPONSORSHIP EVENT

Is a high-key way the best way? It was this time! Mleczko Deli was introduced to the Slough community at The Family Picnic, of which Mleczko was the main sponsor. Over 2,000 people came together for a day of fun, competition and relaxing… and we had to give them something memorable. How about sampling stands with finger-licking delicious doughnuts from Mleczko’s own bakery and a competition for the young ones, with the main prize being a trip to Legoland? It worked wonders. It was not only the local community who fell in love with the brand and the products, but also Polish and British media, who gave the event (and Mleczko!) extensive press coverage. Sweet!

Natasha Cosmetics & Café

Natasha Cosmetics & Café is the largest Polish shop located in Slough, offering a wide range of quality Polish cosmetics. Well, it is not just a shop… Natasha Cosmetics & Café believes that a well-taken-care-of client is a happy client, and it makes sure that each and every one of them gets pampered with great coffee, home-made gluten-free ice cream, and adorable customer service. Feel free to pop in and relax after a busy day at work – you will leave a new person!

Our

Challenge

The main goal of the launch campaign was to get the business off to a flying start and ahead of the competition. We wanted to communicate the brand’s unique selling points and special offers and, by doing so, attract more clients. The campaign was also meant to give the business confidence in building their reputation on distinctive products and services they offer. In other words, we were after creating a memorable brand identity that would engage with the audiences in a new and meaningful way!

PR & BUSINESS LAUNCH

In order to reach different target audiences, we used a variety of channels, from in-store promotions through facebook marketing campaign to ads on Polish Radio London. On three consecutive weekends we were there to interact with he local community, promote and inspire engagement, and give away free-gift invitations. We also organised a contest, in which the winners (and there were plenty of them!) received goody bags with sample cosmetics. We invited prospective customers, suppliers, employees, and friends to join us in having fun! The more the merrier, they say.

Nowakowski

FUNERAL DIRECTORS

Nowakowski Funeral Directors is the first Polish funeral home in the UK. The company offers a wide range of funeral services, from burials through cremation to repatriation of the deceased to Poland. Not an easy business, we must say! Still, the director, Jacek Nowakowski, have been serving every family with great compassion, care, and dignity, trying to make one of the most difficult times in their lives easier. The company has been recognised for its hard work and customer service with The Polish Choice of the Year 2015 award, given to the best Polish businesses in the UK. Hats off, ladies and gentlemen!

Our

Challenge

Our task was to create the company logo and marketing materials that would demonstrate the character of the business and capture the brand’s values. We found Nowakowski Funeral Directors to be a professional, credible and trustworthy company, and we wanted the logo to reflect that. The marketing materials had to be modern yet elegant, with clear layout that would speak to the audience. But professional design was not enough – we wanted the brochure to inspire clients’ trust and encourage them to act. Where there is a skill, there is a way!

REBRANDING

We designed a simple and natural logo that uses two most elegant colours used in graphic design – black, associated with mourning and golden, associated with high quality. This way the logo conveys the company’s focus on high standards of care that bereaved families can expect from Nowakowski Funeral Directors. The marketing materials were designed in the same style, with toned colours and a clear layout. The new logo was received with positive response from the clients’ and it awakened their curiosity and interest in the brand.

Our

Challenge

The main goal of the campaign was to boost up sales during low holiday season, and win clients over by feeding them probably the best doughnuts in London! We also wanted to collect as many testimonials about the shops and the products as possible in order to get an idea how the brand is perceived by the clients, what to improve, and what the brand’s strong points are. Finally, the campaign was to introduce and promote Mleczko Bakery premium beads & doughnuts and showcase their outstanding quality.

PRODUCT SAMPLING IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

Within three holiday months we set up 20 sampling stands at all Mleczko shops, where we promoted their products twice a week (both weekdays and weekends) to target different clients. For more fun we organised prize raffles, which attracted a great number of people (deep inside we’re all gamblers!). The campaign started big and finish big – we gave away about 10,000 food samples, which resulted in a significant boost in sales, and collected over 1,300 testimonials, which exceeded the expectations of the client. If you don’t know what it’s all about, it’s probably about doughnuts!

Our

Challenge

The client asked us to come up with an eye-catchy outdoor advertising campaign to promote their new Kenton store. Had we done it before? No! Did we feel like we could do it? 100%! And so the goal was to promote the new Mleczko Kenton store among the local community and to attract a large number of new customers on a daily basis. But that’s not all! We wanted to create unforgettable ads that would tell the story behind the brand, show that Mleczko is about fun, and explain why having fun is a serious business!

OUTDOOR ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN IN NORTH WEST LONDON

We created a powerful outdoor advertising campaign in Kenton, Harrow and Watford using bus stops, phone boxes, and bus supersides! This way we targeted customers on a daily basis, reaching to them above busy and cluttered streets and demanding (yes, demanding!) their attention. The campaign was integrated with media and online advertising as well as in-store sampling events, which together attracted a great number of people. Those who visited the new store were not sent away empty-handed. The visitors could sign up to receive a loyalty card and take part in free competitions to win some generous cash prizes. Talk about bonding with the customer!

Our

Challenge

On the one hand, the main goal of the campaign was to gain visibility as well as the favour of younger audiences, and a one-day pop and rock concert seemed like a perfect place to do so. On the other hand, the client simply wanted to help Cooltura Festival organise the event and bring some of the finest Polish artists together. The festival is an annual concert series held in London, with a line-up of most famous Polish artists who perform their most iconic material. Now, who wouldn’t like to sponsor that?

INDOOR SPONSORSHIP EVENT AT COOLTURA FESTIVAL

We made some noise… we attracted crowds… we had a blast! To begin with, we set up a pop-up refreshment stand where music fans could grab something to eat and drink before and during the concert. This allowed lovely Mleczko girls interact with the audience throughout the entire event. We also gave away complimentary gifts on a first-catch-first-serve basis (it pays off to be quick!). Finally, we organised a surprise contest up on the stage because there is never enough fun! All this together made the concert more enjoyable, friendly, and memorable!

The main goal of the campaign was to interest the non-Polish audience in quality Polish products, gain a new market of consumers, and – most importantly – help the Mleczko brand connect with their audience on a deeper, more emotional level. May long live family-like culture! We also wanted to tell the audience the story behind quality meat, produced every day at Mleczko Hanwell by in-store expert butchers (and passionate foodies!)… The story that is true, inspiring, and quite tasty!

ETHNIC MARKETING TACTICS & SPONSORSHIP EVENT AT HANWELL CARNIVAL

If you want to be visible in the sea of promotional stands, you have to be seen as well as heard! Ok, then… To begin with, we set up an attractive stand with loads of goodies to offer, from food sampling to face painting for children, which beckoned (quite literally!) to people to come and join us for a bit of fun. Our big, multinational team of brand ambassadors took care of each and every person, offering rich food samples, entertaining children, or telling tales of Polish culture, tradition, and quality food. The result? We mesmerised the audience, and we are not sorry about it!

Our

Challenge

The goal of the social media campaign was to reach a wider Polish audience and encourage a dialogue between the company and its new as well as potential clients. Let’s face it – funeral industry is still somewhat taboo in a sense that people don’t normally discuss death and dying (maybe apart from busy Mondays!). And so in order to break this taboo we needed to find a marketing strategy that fits the business, portrays the company as customer-friendly, and engages with the clients.

FACEBOOK MANAGEMENT

In order to build and engage the audience, we developed a successful facebook strategy based on connection, good content, and consistency. We started using Facebook as a place to interact with fans on a personal level so that they get to know the brand and the brand gets to know them. The fan page has become a place where the firm shares news, heart-touching quotes and pays tribute to famous Polish people we’ve lost. And as such it continues to attract new fans, who want to engage with the passionate content, and share their thoughts. Mission accomplished!
